Robert Helenius' boxing record ahead of Anthony Joshua fight

Robert Helenius is the surprise name who will face Anthony Joshua this weekend at the O2 Arena in London, with the 39-year-old earning one of the biggest nights of his career.

Helenius has been drafted in to face the former two-time heavyweight champion of the world in the wake of Dillian Whyte's withdrawal due to a positive drugs test. The fighter from Finland has faced some big names in his career, with a contest against Deontay Wilder last October ending in a first round knockout defeat.

He will now face another of the biggest names in the division, with the August 12 contest taking place just seven days after his last bout, a third round knockout victory against fellow Finn Mika Mielonen on August 5. The fighter, who stands at 6ft 6in is not expected to win, but his record suggests he will be able to put up a good fight against Joshua, with his recent outing providing sharpness.

Anthony Joshua will face Robert Helenius in a 12-round main event at The O2 in London this Saturday August 12, shown exclusively live worldwide on DAZN – with fans now able to view as part of their regular subscription. DAZN is the home of all the major fights from the boxing world and Saturday’s sold-out event will now be available to watch worldwide on the service.

At Wednesday's press conference, he said: "Thank you for giving me this opportunity. This fight offer came to me after my fight at the weekend. I was going on vacation with my family but not anymore, here we are.

"We had a good camp behind us, and we feel ready. I am ready to fight, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. I respect him, he’s a good fighter. It’s going to be glorious. I’ve been chasing the World Title for 15 years and when you get this big of an opportunity
