Robbery gang carrying hammers and angle grinders target motorbikes and scooters

A robbery gang said to use hammers, angle grinders and other weapons to threaten scooter and motorbike riders is being hunted by police. Five reports have been revealed by police in Stockport - and two men have been attacked so far.

Now detectives have issued an urgent appeal for information, and a warning to anyone who owns a bike or scooter.

The robberies and attempted robberies happened over just a few days this month, with the gang described as men wearing dark clothing and Balaclavas who have two motorbikes.
