Rob Cross raves over Rangers VIP treatment as darts star has the Ibrox red carpet rolled out

Former Darts world champion and Rangers daft supporter Rob Cross has revealed that he is enjoying the luxury of Ibrox hospitality for tonight's Premiership clash against Ross County.

Phillippe Clement's Gers are looking for an eighth consecutive victory in all competitions and know that a win by more than two goals will see them jump above rivals Celtic at the top of the table. Cross, who walks onto the oche to the beloved Gers anthem "Simply the Best" by Tina Turner, has quickly established himself as one of the top players in the world since turning professional in 2017.

His 6-5 victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship saw him become a world champion just 11 months later, and his success continued when he lifted both the World Matchplay and European Championship titles in 2019, winning the latter for a second time in 2021.

And ahead of tonight's crucial clash at Ibrox, world number six Cross has shared some snaps from inside the stadium with he and his manager and fellow Light Blues fan "Rab" getting the "VIP treatment" from the club.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote: "Loving the VIP treatment at Ibrox today! Off to the game tonight with my Scottish manager Rab cannot wait. Come on Gers!"
