Ringrose passed fit for Leinster but Doris and Van der Flier to be assessed ahead of Tigers clash

Garry Ringrose has been passed fit for Leinster ahead of Friday's Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final with Leicester but Caelan Doris and Josh van der Flier will be assessed during the week.

Ireland centre Ringrose has been out of action since the penultimate Six Nations match against France on 12 March but has come through the return-to-play protocols following a head injury.

Leinster say the 28-year-old trained fully last week and is available for selection for the Aviva Stadium tie (live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player).

Doris, who suffered a head injury against England on 18 March, completed his return protocols last week but the back row missed the 30-15 victory over Ulster through illness.

Flanker Van der Flier "rolled his ankle" in the win on Saturday and will be assessed by the medical staff this week.

Full-back Hugo Keenan, on his comeback from a head injury against England, came through the match with no issues.

Johnny Sexton (groin), Jamie Osborne (knee), Rónan Kelleher (shoulder), Joe McCarthy (ankle), Cormac Foley (hamstring), Martin Moloney (knee) and Charlie Ngatai (hamstring) remain on the injury list.
