Richarlison transfer latest: Tottenham beat off four rivals as report details bargain deal Paractici has struck

Tottenham are in the driving seat to secure the Richarlison transfer after a report in Italy claimed Fabio Paratici was in advanced talks over his signing.

The 25-year-old forward burst into life towards the end of the season, scoring six goals in the last nine games to help Everton secure survival. But it seems the 36-times capped Brazil forward is now likely to part ways with the Toffees. With Everton needing the cash to help Frank Lampard’s rebuild, Richarlison looks like being sacrificed.

As such, UOL Esporte recently claimed Spurs were in advanced negotiations to sign Richarlison.

However, cash-strapped Everton’s willingness to sell Richarlison has seemingly alerted other suitors. Indeed, a report on Monday claimed PSG and Real Madrid were keen on securing his services. Furthermore, Juventus and AC Milan are also being credited with an interest in the 53-goal striker.

Tottenham, though, appear to have beaten off all their rivals to his signing.

As per Calciomercato, Serie A duo Juve and Milan are now ‘waving the white flag’ having conceded defeat to Tottenham. They claim Antonio Conte’s side are moving towards a deal to bring the often-controversial Brazilian to N17.

Furthermore, it was suggested last week by The Athletic that Everton are looking to generate at least £60m from Richarlison’s sale.

However, Calciomercato reports that Tottenham director Fabio Paratici has worked some genuine transfer magic. And if their report is accurate, they suggest Spurs are neairng a deal with an initial downpayment of £34.8m (€40m).

That does seem a little low given Everton’s initial valuation.

Furthermore, Lampard is hoping to use the funds to revitalise an Everton side that struggled badly last season.
