Richarlison options open up as Man Utd learn new rivals for Everton striker

Manchester United now have two rivals for Everton star Richarlison, with Bayern Munich joining Paris Saint-Germain in the race for the forward.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer. Relegation to the Championship for the Toffees would have guaranteed his exit. But Frank Lampard’s side have taken seven points from four games to give themselves a fighting chance of beating the drop.

With two games to go, they sit 16th in the table and are two points above the bottom three. Everton welcome Crystal Palace to Merseyside on Thursday before facing Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.

Victory in either fixture will ensure there is top-flight football at Goodison next term. However, Richarlison has been tipped to leave the north-west outfit for some time.

United have been linked, with incoming manager Erik ten Hag tipped to make sweeping changes to the club’s attacking ranks. Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Paul Pogba look set to leave as free agents.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano recently reported that the Red Devils ‘have discussed’ Darwin Nunez and Richarlison for their summer recruitment.
