Revealed: The hidden cost of Birmingham City's past two transfer windows
Birmingham City spent £1.25million on agent fees in the past two transfer windows, the Football Association has confirmed.
Blues made eight signings in the summer window with Ryan Woods and Troy Deeney their most notable permanent acquisitions. Technical director Craig Gardner also snapped up four players on loan, including Manchester United starlet Tahith Chong.
Gardner and head coach Lee Bowyer shuffled their pack further in January with five new additions, four of whom arrived on loan. Juninho Bacuna joined permanently from Rangers in a transfer which could eventually exceed seven figures.
