Reliable journalist: Spurs could face major double blow pending one condition

Fabrizio Romano has revealed on the FIVE YouTube channel what key decision could see Antonio Conte leave Tottenham Hotspur.

Conte recently had a major outburst after Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat at the hands of Burnley and something similar happened after their shock FA Cup exit against Middlesbrough claiming that maybe he’s not good enough for the club.

There’s one thing that could see him reluctantly leave Spurs and that’s not the results or performances on the pitch, but if Daniel Levy decided to sanction the sale of star striker Harry Kane, who was close to leaving last summer, that could push the manager over the edge and out of the door, as reported by Romano.

The Italian journalist believes that Kane leaving Spurs would see Conte follow him out the door.

“He wants the club to be prepared to support him and not to lose any single top player because this is another point, it’s about Harry Kane. If  Tottenham face the risk of losing Harry Kane, they will lose Antonio, he wants to build a new Tottenham with Harry Kane as a star he loves the player.”

TIF Thoughts on Conte’s future at Tottenham…

Serious questions would have to be asked, if they aren’t already, of Levy and this Spurs squad over the last few years if they fail to win any silverware under Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho or Conte and they may not have long left with the latter if he’s not fully backed in the summer.

It would surely not be a surprise for Spurs fans if Conte felt he had no choice but to walk away from them if Kane was sold given how important he is to the club and that Conte wishes to build a winning mentality within the squad, so Levy selling one of the best strikers in the world would be the complete opposite.
