Regan Grace's St Helens exit confirmed as winger makes French rugby union move

Regan Grace will leave Super League champions St Helens at the end of the season. Grace, one of the most prolific wingers to play in the competition in recent years, has finally made a decision on his future, with a move to French rugby union in 2023 now confirmed.

St Helens had tabled a bumper deal to Grace to convince him to commit his long-term future to the club. However, he has subsequently rejected that deal in favour of a move back to rugby union, the sport he played as a youngster, and a move across the Channel to France.

Grace has scored 86 times in 138 appearances for the Saints since making his debut against Wigan in 2017. He has been a pivotal part of the squad that has won three consecutive Super League titles but will now embark on a new challenge in rugby union, leaving the club with a major hole to fill in there squad for 2023.

“All the years being here, the club and coaches have looked after me well and have given me my chances. Thanks also to all of my teammates who I have had the privilege of playing with. And of course, I want to thank all the St Helens fans, in particular the Imperial Exiles who sponsored me and looked after me when I first came over.
