Reda Khadra's exciting vow to Sheffield United supporters, Gibbs-White and idolising Eden Hazard

Reda Khadra cannot wait to pull on a Sheffield United shirt for the first time after completing his switch from Brighton. The forward has joined on loan until the end of the season and is hoping to feature in Monday evening's opening day clash at Watford.

The 21-year-old is an exciting signing and he caught the eye during a loan stint at Blackburn last season when he impressed in the two games against United.

Supporters were given a glimpse of his talent when the pacey, tricky forward caused the Blades backline all manner of problems.

Paul Heckingbottom now wants to see plenty more of that this season as he hopes he can fill the void left by Morgan Gibbs-White.

The Wolves loanee walked away with the player of the year award after an impressive campaign and Khadra believes the pair are quite similar in the way they attack.

"He had a really good season," he explained. "But I think football is a team sport and I'm going to fit in and help the team with my qualities. I don't feel any pressure. I think we are quite similar, we like to go one v one and beat players."

Although United fans were given a flavour of what to expect when they came up against him, especially at Ewood Park, Khadra says he will excite fans with his direct, attacking style.

He grew up watching Eden Hazard and takes his inspiration from the Belgian star in terms of the way he plays. He says he loves nothing more than getting the fans on their feet.

"Yeah for sure," he told Yorkshire Live. "It's always a great feeling that you do something good and the fans pushing you to do more. It's a great feeling to have that behind you.
