Record deal and Marcus Rashford transfer role - Man United new kit 2024/25 boost

Manchester United will launch their new home kit on July 1 with a new sponsor that will enhance their FFP concerns thanks to a record deal.

The away and third kits for the 2024/25 season are likely to be released later in July and potentially August.

Some Premier League clubs - including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal - officially released their new home kits for next season in May, with the shirts available to buy in time for the final weekend of the season.

United, however, had to wait on and confirmed on Monday that the new kit will be revealed on July 1. Various leaks of the new Adidas design have done the rounds over the summer with a new front-of-shirt sponsor but all three shirts are only likely to be unveiled later in the summer. That is because the club have a new shirt sponsorship deal in place with Snapdragon, but the record £60million-a-year deal only comes into force on July 1.

United agreed a new £900million 10-year deal with Adidas last July for the German manufacturer to continue making the kits, but Snapdragon will replace TeamViewer as the primary sponsor for next season.

Although the kits can only be launched once the Snapdragon deal starts, it is not unusual for United to launch their shirts later into the summer. Last season the home kit was launched on June 27, the away kit on July 24 and the third kit on August 8.
