Real Madrid 'could come in' for 'world-class' £133m star at the Bernabeu

Real Madrid could battle numerous Premier League sides for the signing of Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to journalist Dean Jones.

When asked about a potential move away from the Bundesliga giants, Bellingham himself responded recently: “The club (Dortmund) have done loads for me and made me feel very welcome since I first came and gave me the opportunities to develop even further. To look past that and into the future would be disrespectful.”

Despite that, The Athletic have claimed that if the midfielder does eventually push for a move, then Dortmund will stand firm over his valuation of €150m (£133m) – the kind of fee that effectively rules out most of Europe.

And while it’s been suggested the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea will be in the running to sign the former Birmingham City starlet, it appears Los Blancos could emerge as dark horses for his signature.

Jones has indicated that despite the expectation being the Premier League’s elite will fight it out for Bellingham, Madrid are also big fans of the midfielder and could muscle in on the competition.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “Bellingham is the most exciting prospect of next summer and the expectation is that United, Liverpool and Chelsea battle for him – but I heard from a very good source this week that Real Madrid also like him and could yet come into the equation.”

Given the history of the club and its reputation for signing the biggest and best players around the world, it’s no surprise to hear that Florentino Perez and co are keeping an eye on Bellingham’s situation at Dortmund.

The La Liga giants were of course rumoured to be bringing in France superstar Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer
