Real Madrid can help Manchester United make next transfer after Bryan Mbeumo deal
Manchester United will hope to make progress on a deal to sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo in the coming days.
The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that United were closing in on a deal for the Brentford star after submitting a second bid in excess of £60m.
The Cameroon international is keen to make the move to Old Trafford and an agreement between the two clubs is all that's left to make the transfer a reality.
It remains to be seen which position United will look to strengthen next, but they are in the market for a forward, midfielder, goalkeeper and possibly another full-back.
Manchester United have launched their new home kit for the 2025/26 season with an Adidas shirt paying tribute to Old Trafford.

After sealing the signing of Matheus Cunha for £62.5million earlier this month, Mbeumo's arrival will see United's spending in the summer transfer window move north of £120million.
Therefore, any transfer fees they can bring in will be most welcome, with United keen to sell the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia this summer.
But they could also bank fees for players they have already sold who are attracting interest in the transfer market.
United sold Anthony Elanga to Nottingham Forest two seasons ago and the Sweden international bagged six goals and 12 assists last season to help Forest bag European football for next season.
That form has seen Newcastle United heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old, with reports suggesting they have seen a £45million bid rejected.
Forest are said to be demanding a fee in the region of £60million and United would be entitled to a portion of that
