Man United receive Bryan Mbeumo transfer 'timeline' amid Hugo Ekitike update

Manchester United have been given an encouraging update regarding Bryan Mbeumo before their pre-season tour in the United States.

Ruben Amorim's squad traveled to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong for their post-season trip. They will now head to Sweden for a friendly against Leeds United on July 19, before playing three matches in the Premier League Summer Series against Bournemouth, Everton, and West Ham United.

United’s pre-season preparations will conclude with a home fixture against Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9.

It’s also a welcome relief after what has been a drawn-out transfer saga - one that arguably took longer than necessary to conclude.

Newcastle United have reportedly rekindled their interest in Hugo Ekitike, who has also been the subject of interest from United.
