Rashford, Maguire, Casemiro - Manchester United injury news and return dates ahead of Copenhagen clash

Manchester United return to Champions League action on Wednesday evening when they face FC Copenhagen at Parken Stadium.

Erik ten Hag's side finally got off the mark in Europe a fortnight ago, beating this week's hosts 1-0 in dramatic fashion at Old Trafford. Harry Maguire scored the only goal with a close-range header but had Andre Onana to thank, the goalkeeper saving an added-time penalty from Jordan Larsson.

United have since lost at home to Manchester City and Newcastle before beating Fulham 1-0 on Saturday. Marcus Rashford was a late omission from the squad at Craven Cottage, joining the likes of Casemiro and Luke Shaw in watching from the sidelines.

Ten Hag gave updates on several of his injured players during Friday's press conference, and MEN Sport has taken a look at the current list.

Injury: Knock

The striker was ruled out of the win over Fulham after failing a late fitness test, having picked up a knock in the days beforehand. He was involved in training on Tuesday and named in United's 23-man squad that flew to Denmark.

What Ten Hag said: "100% [Ready]. Rashy missed one game with a small knock."

Potential return date: November 8 vs Copenhagen

Injury: Hand/head

Maguire put in a battling performance in Saturday's win but came away with a couple of knocks. The defender looked dazed after a blow to the head and then came off with what is thought to be a hand injury.

What Ten Hag said: "We followed all the protocols after the game so he’s ready. He was fine in the game played very well."

Potential return date: November 8 vs Copenhagen

Injury: Hamstring
