Rare 20p coin sells for £60 on eBay - and there could be thousands in circulation
A rare 20p coin which is missing the date has sold for almost £60 on eBay.

However, sometimes the old way was used by mistake, so some coins don't have a date on either side. According to Change Checker, the Royal Mint thinks there could be up to 250,000 of these coins out there.

The Royal Mint makes between three million and four million coins every day, so it's hard for them to know exactly how many mistake coins there might be. But they do sometimes make mistakes - so keep an eye on your change for any coins that
