Rangers v Motherwell: Teams are revealed ahead of the big Premiership kick-off

Rangers and Motherwell have revealed their teams ahead of the Premiership clash at Ibrox this afternoon.

Michael Beale has made three changes to the side that beat Real Betis here in the Europa League on Thursday night, as Sam Lammers, Scott Wright and Cyriel Dessers come in for Abdallah Sima, Tom Lawrence and Kemar Roofe.

That meant Dessers starting up front, supported by Rabbi Matondo and Scott Wright.

Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell made just the one change to the side that lost 1-0 at home to St Mirren last weekend, as Paul McGinn returns from suspension, in place of Shane Blaney.

The Steelmen are looking for their first league win in Govan in 26 years, since an Owen Coyle double stunned the Ibrox faithful back in May 1997.

Motherwell are in slightly better Premiership form, with three wins and a defeat in their last four, while Rangers beat St Johnstone and Ross County either side of a 1-0 loss to bitter rivals Celtic at Ibrox.

As a result, Stuart Kettlewell's side are third in the table a point ahead of their hosts.

RANGERS: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Barisic, Lumdstram, Cifuentes, Lammers, Wright, Matondo, Dessers.

Subs: McCrorie (GK), Ridvan, Souttar, Jack, Sima, Sterling, Roofe, Rice, Lovelace.

MOTHERWELL: Kelly, O'Donnell, McGinn, Mugabi, Casey, Spencer, Slattery, Miller, Spittal, Paton, Bair.

Subs: Oxborough (GK), Gent, Zdravkovski, Shaw, McGinley, Blaney, Wilson, Ferrie, Wilkinson.

Referee: Alan Muir.
