Rangers TV claim for 'invisible' handball sparks hilarity from rivals as no one else can see it

Supporters of Rangers' rivals have lapped up club TV commentary which flimsily claimed for a handball when Dan Casey headed home to shake-up the Premiership title race.

Veteran broadcaster Tom Miller has had previous quips seized on and social media hit the giggles over his deadpan shout as Ibrox was stunned into silence when the visitors went ahead 2-1 in the final 15 minutes. Casey wheeled away in delight after the ball was clearly directed past an outstretched Jack Butland due to the use of his noggin.

And the shock defeat for Rangers – Motherwell's first in the top flight since 1997 – tees Celtic up to go one point clear with nine games remaining if they can navigate a tricky encounter away to Hearts at Tynecastle. The Premiership champions have netted 10 goals in their last three halves of football and will be seeking to push ahead for an 12th title in the past 13 seasons. One fan asked if anyone else could see the "invisible" handball but punters were left stumped over the claim.
