Rangers transfer bulletin as Ridvan Yilmaz responds to Clement request and cult hero sparks shock signing fight

Demanding Rangers boss Philippe Clement issued another appeal to his stars to remain all-in and it appears Ridvan Yilmaz is on board despite interest in his services from elsewhere.

The left-back has been unable to truly cement himself as an Ibrox regular but the man arrived from Besiktas in 2022 is in his best moment in terms of game time. But minutes in lieu of the absent Borna Barisic doesn't appear to guarantee his future with Hellas Verona and Galatasaray linked with the 22-year-old.

It appears the exit door will open for Yilmaz if a suitable fee is sought and boss Clement made it clear it's on his Ibrox squad to prove they want to remain at Rangers, if they stay in situ beyond the close of the window in a fortnight. The Belgian said: "We will see what’s going to happen. It’s also players need to show they really want to be here the next couple of months so we need to be prepared for everything, for every position also, that if something happens we have solutions.

And on Yilmaz directly, Clement added: "That is one position that we have two players; one is end of contract and the other one there is a lot of rumours around. So it’s clear that we need to be ready for that position to have solutions.”

But it's a challenge Yilmaz appears up for as he headed to social media to show love for his current team with a blue heart emoji in the wake of his efforts against Copenhagen in Tuesday's 2-2 daw. Yilmaz' future remains up in the air but the player is keen to underline his commitment to the Rangers cause.
