Rangers top Celtic in all-time coefficient hit list as four Scottish clubs make UEFA's top 100

Rangers have been ranked TENTH on the all-time list of points scored towards their country's coefficient - with Celtic coming in at 15th. Meanwhile Aberdeen rank as Scotland's third-best performer, with Hibs trailing in their wake.

The coefficient has been a major talking point in Scottish football in recent seasons, with club performances in Europe dragging us up to ninth place ahead of rivals Serbia, Ukraine and Belgium. It comes after Rangers ' impressive run to the Europa League final last season, while Celtic made three successive knockout stage appearances between 2018 and 2020.

Top performances in Europe led to Ange Postecoglou's side going straight into the Champions League group stages this season, while Rangers still have a chance of joining them if they can overturn Union Saint-Gilloise at Ibrox. Hearts, meanwhile, have the fall-back of Conference League group stage football even if they fail to qualify for the Europa League - and may join Dundee United there if they finish the job against AZ and go on to win their playoff tie.

Rangers and Celtic of course boast the lion's share of Scotland's points, and have each contributed upwards of 100 to our cause over the years. Gers in fact have picked up 109.167 points - enough to put them in the top ten ahead of AC Milan (107.971). Celtic are narrowly behind on 101.250, but to put that into context, it's more than Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, and PSV Eindhoven have collected.
