Rangers star and Ibrox January signing handed shock selection in Glasgow Cup as Cambuslang Rangers striker given another chance
Cambuslang Rangers striker Scott Williamson has been selected to start for Queen's Park in their Glasgow Cup tie against Rangers 'B'.
Williamson joined the League One side in January and returned to Camby on loan for the rest of the West of Scotland Football League Conference B season.
He netted in this competition against Celtic's youth squad last month and is now handed a chance against Rangers.
The youngster has been on fire for Cambuslang, who are on the cusp of winning the Conference B title.
He'll be up against Rangers first-team star Cedric Itten, with the Swiss international picked for selection after his surprising runout against Celtic's youngsters on Saturday while Giovanni van Bronckhorst's first-team faced Aberdeen.
Uddingston's Alex Lowry also starts for the Ibrox club's youngsters, as does January signing Mateusz Żukowski.
