Rangers: 'Sensational' £12.6m star 'fancies a move' from Ibrox
Rangers winger Ryan Kent ‘will still look to leave’ the club in the upcoming transfer window despite their recent success, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The Gers reached their first European final since 2008 on Thursday, seeing off RB Leipzig 3-1 at Ibrox to seal a famous 3-2 aggregate victory and progress to the Europa League’s showpiece event.
Kent arrived at Rangers on an initial season-long loan deal from Liverpool back in July 2018 before making his stay permanent a year later for £7.5 million.
And ever since he arrived in Glasgow, the flying forward has established himself as a key player for the Scottish giants, registering 30 goals and 47 assists in 171 appearances across all competitions.
Former manager Steven Gerrard described Kent as “sensational” during their time together at the club, and he’s continued to excel under his successor Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
After playing a pivotal part in Rangers’ first top-flight title triumph in 10 years last term, the former England Under-20 international has racked up six goal contributions in their run to the Europa League final in Seville.

However, Kent’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2023 alongside a number of other first-team stars, leaving his long-term future in doubt.
If he refuses to put pen to paper on fresh terms, then the Rangers hierarchy may be forced to into sanctioning his sale this summer or risk losing him on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.
Jones has revealed that Kent remains keen on seeking a new challenge ahead of next season in spite of Rangers’ remarkable European run as he ‘wants to play in the Premier League’.
He told
