Martin Brundle mistakes Paolo Banchero for Pat Mahomes in epic Miami GP gridwalk

The Miami Grand Prix is upon us this evening as the US city hosts its inaugural race and it’s certainly been an entertaining event in the build-up and Martin Brundle’s grid walk stole the show.

The glitz and glamour of Miami has provided a pretty suitable backdrop for F1 and all the stops have been pulled out in the build-up to really generate excitement around the event, with a host of stars descending on the grid ahead of lights out.

It’s at that point in the weekend, then, that former Formula 1 driver and Sky pundit Martin Brundle gets to shine most of all, then, and, as he did in America last year at COTA in Austin, he did not disappoint in delivering a fair few hilarious moments.

Back in Austin in 2021, he famously doorstepped Megan Thee Stallion and went viral for an exchange of words with one of her entourage, but the fun was only multiplied ahead of the Miami GP, with Brundle decked in a very lairy shirt to boot.
