Rangers Premiership position is unacceptable and players must answer this question over Euro displays - Saturday Jury
SCOTT BURNS:Rangers have a good chance of qualifying for the knockout stage but they still have a long way to go before we can say the corner has been turned. A distant third in the Premiership is unacceptable.
SCOTT McDERMOTT: It's a bit early to say they've turned a corner and one swallow doesn't make a summer. They've put themselves in a good position to qualify. But I'd be more inclined to ask these players why they look far more hungry for European games than they do domestic ones. Because ultimately, it's their failings in the Scottish Premiership that might cost their manager his job.
FRASER WILSON: The performances in Europe have shown Rangers can carry out a game plan successfully which makes their domestic displays all the more bewildering. I do fancy them to reach the next stage of Europe. But their Premiership form needs to pick up and Cyriel Dessers finding his shooting boots would help.
SCOTT B: If Celtic can get any better than it is a worry for the rest of Scottish football. It could be another Invincible season with the way they took apart Aberdeen.
SCOTT MCD: That's the great thing about this Rodgers team. You feel it still has the potential for growth and development within it. They're purring just now but the manager won't let them rest on their laurels.
FRASER: The big worry for rival Premiership sides is that I think they can. An extended run in the Champions League will focus rather than distract their minds and I reckon key men such as Kyogo and Reo Hatate can still go up a level domestically this season.
SCOTT B: I don’t think Hearts can afford to drop him. Who is there that will come in and score goals? Shankland is the best they have. He will come good and it is about keeping the faith.
