Rangers news bulletin as Mason Holgate 'monitored' while Alfredo Morelos mega-money contract revealed

Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on Mason Holgate's situation at Southampton as the defender looks set to return to Everton next month.

Philippe Clement is set for a busy January window as he looks to put his own stamp on the Ibrox squad after an unbeaten start to life at the club - and the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership with Celtic narrowing. It has now been claimed that Rangers are "waiting in the wings" to take Holgate north of the border with Sean Dyche set to end the 27-year-old's loan spell on the south coast.
