Rangers fans suffer kiosk chaos after being left without water in baking Seville heat

Rangers have contacted UEFA over a lack of water available at the kiosks during this evening's Europa League final.

It's a boiling hot night in Seville as the Ibrox club look to win their first major European trophy since 1972 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Temperatures have soared above 30 degrees and while the temperature will cool at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, fans will need to stay hydrated.

But that will prove a challenge as several kiosks within the ground are closed ahead of an 8pm UK time kick-off.

Now the Premiership side have opened dialogue with European footballs governing body over the issue.

A Rangers spokesperson said: "We have communicated with UEFA re the lack of available water for our fans. They are working to rectify."

One fan said 'What a shambles. Over 30 degrees and can’t buy a bottle of water?' while another commented 'disgraceful UEFA.'

Supporters have travelled in their thousands to southern Spain but only a handful will be in the stadium due to an allocation of just 9,500.
