Rangers discover eight potential Europa League opponents as AC Milan headline unseeded section

Rangers could be set for a mouth-watering Europa League showdown with AC Milan.

The Light Blues are one of the eight seeded teams in Friday's last 16 draw after their Seville heroics against Real Betis on matchday six in the groups booked a direct ticket to this stage of the competition for Philippe Clement and Co after a top spot finish. The Ibrox men have been able to watch on from afar as 16 clubs battle it out in the knockout round play-off to earn the right to join the eight group winners at this stage with the eight advancing clubs earning an unseeded status.

The Rossoneri are the big hitters in that group of teams after they dumped Rennes out. They ran out 3-0 winners at the San Siro last week but lost 3-2 in France to progress 5-3 on aggregate. It would prove a massive test for Rangers if they are paired with the European heavyweights who boast superstar Rafael Leao in their ranks.
