Rangers deploy PPV option for Motherwell clash as punters offered way to beat TV blackout

Rangers will use one of their PPV slots to show this weekend's match with Motherwell, the club have confirmed.

The Light Blues go into this weekend in better spirits after returning from the international break with a 2-0 win at St Johnstone and impressive Europa League group stage opener at Ibrox against Real Betis, winning 1-0. But Michael Beale is not going to be dishing out lavish praise just yet with the Steelmen - undefeated in the league away from home under Stuart Kettlewell since he took charge in February - his next priority as he tries to build bridges following a slow start to the campaign.

It's NOT a game that has been picked for Sky cameras, but as part of the deal with the Premierships' exclusive broadcaster, clubs can show five matches ion home soil via their own club channels, providing it falls outside of 3pm and 5pm on a Saturday.

One of those has been taken up by Rangers this Sunday, with the game available to punters via Rangers TV. Emma Dodds will host the coverage alongside pundits Shelley Kerr and Alex Rae.

Motherwell have taken up their first of the campaign for their next home game versus Celtic. That also hasn't been picked by SKy, so it has been pushed to a 12:30pm kick-off to allow the Lanarkshire outfit to stream the game.

Boss Beale needs a victory to keep the wolves at bay and will leapfrog the Fir Park men with a victory. Kick-off remains at 3pm for the Ibrox clash.
