Rangers board treats fan with contempt and there are massive problems in the background - Hotline

Rangers were the only show in town for a Hotline with little compliments or well wishes for the Light Blues.

There's concern and disharmony across the board with issues both on and off the park.

Arrin Geddes, Irvine, said: "Rangers dug out a win at Dundee on Sunday but it only proved that Gio Van Bronckhorst doesn’t have the quality in the squad to be able to give his important players a rest and it will catch up with them. If you take Joe Aribo out of that team they can’t create anything as was shown in the first half on Sunday"

Dean Ridgers, Barassie, said: "The only thing the Rangers fan protest did on Sunday was prove they’ve got jacket pockets big enough to hold a toilet roll. The way to make a board listen is to hit the club financially. Are the Rangers fans willing to do that given their situation?"

Robert Frew, Glasgow, said: "Does Hotline caller John Bruce think Rangers would have done so 'incredibly well' on Sunday had they been away to fifth placed Spurs instead of the bottom of the league Dundee."

Bud Hay, Dumfries, said: "I nearly choked on my Corn Flakes when I read all these Hotline callers saying Rangers will win the Premiership. Celtic can only lose it and when we do win it, will it be the same excuse that Rangers were playing too many games and they should start every game with a penalty as they get one nearly every game?"

Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: "There are massive problems in the background at Rangers with a board which treats the support and ex-players with contempt. How many greats have lost their hospitality jobs because of their allegiance to Dave King?

"Why weren’t the supporters at least consulted about the Aussie Old Firm match? Didn’t the board realise Big Ange is a hero there?
