Raging Scott McTominay rips into Georgia 'cry babies' as Man United star channels inner Rodri during astonishing blast

Raging Scott McTominay has branded the Georgia players "cry babies" after their protests and attempts to con the referee during the draw with Scotland.

The Tartan Army watched on as the Euro 2024 bound side struggled in Tbilisi - with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia netting either side of McTominay's seventh goal in seven European qualifying games. It looked set to be another defeat in Georgia for Scotland but Lawrence Shankland climbed off the bench in injury-time to rescue a point and end Scotland 's three-game losing streak.

But the Manchester United star was far from pleased by the actions of the the home side as he let rip on the time-wasting tactics of Willy Sagnol's side as they looked to secure the three points with the clock ticking down. The actions clearly irked the Scotland stars as they protested with whistler Aleksandar Stavrev - who was also regularly confronted by the Georgians as they protested for yellow cards to be brandished.

The tactics clearly annoyed McTominay as he let rip on Viaplay following the full-time whistle. He fumed: "We were going into the game to win the game, but definitely not lose the game as well. Every game at this level is big, and obviously they have got some really, really good footballers but tonight I thought the way they were acting was a disgrace in terms of provoking the referee as well.

"It's not the way it should go, but that's football and it's sometimes the way it goes. We have to keep our heads but it's difficult. There are some disappointed heads in the dressing room but I think it's something we can build on it terms of coming back twice. They should do something about players pretending to be injured when they are not.
