“He was a rotten player, a rotten manager and now he’s a rotten pundit. Rangers have every right to talk up their title chances. Despite losing the last Old Firm game, it was clearly evident that they are a proven goalscorer away from dominating Scottish football. Rangers will only get better while Celtic continue to stand still.”

Allan Docherty emailed: “What is all this sucking up that Scott Brown is doing. Celtic are great, Celtic are the best. Is he looking for a job at Parkhead? He is no doubt qualified to work at Paradise, maybe selling macaroons or even kebabs.”
