Pundits and fans hammering Manchester United's start to the season have missed the point

Plenty of Manchester United fans have expressed their disappointment with how their side have started the season.

While it is understandable to be less than pleased by two wins and two losses from the first four games, United have seen far worse runs of form in the past.

It must not be forgotten that United’s two losses have been handed to them by two of the traditional 'big six' clubs in Arsenal and Tottenham. Of course, in an ideal world these are games United would have won, however, it should also be kept in mind that both of these sides went into the international break unbeaten.
