Pundit shares Man City title prediction after Liverpool defeat Burnley

David Seaman reckons Manchester City have another two or three gears to hit in this Premier League title race.

After overcoming Brentford in midweek, Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team made it two from two since the international break when hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling helped them gun down relegation-threatened Norwich on Saturday afternoon at Carrow Road.

Phil Foden was also on target during that 4-0 victory on the road.

Nearest challengers Liverpool followed it up by defeating rock-bottom Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

Fabinho settled the scores at Turf Moor to close the gap to nine points - and Liverpool still have a game in hand.

However, after watching City extend their unbeaten run to 15 matches in the Premier League - in a staggering run that also includes 14 wins - former Arsenal and City stopper Seaman admits the signs are ominous for Jurgen Klopp and his Anfield side.

During an appearance on Sky Sports News, Seaman said: "I don't think [City can be caught].

"From watching City against Norwich, it looked like they were only in second or third gear - they have still got two or three more gears to go.

"It was really impressive. I still don't see City losing three games. I don't think it will happen. It's as simple as that.

"They look like they are going to win every single game. They might have it [dropping points] in there - but they are not going to do it two or three times."
