PSG: Footage of Mbappe and Neymar's 'penaltygate' should concern club

Paris Saint-Germain made it two wins from two in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.

After destroying Clermont Foot 5-0 in their opening match of the 2022/23 campaign, the champions of France beat Montpellier 5-2 at the Parc Des Princes.

Neymar was the hero of the evening for Christophe Galtier’s side, the Brazilian scoring two more goals and dropping an absolute masterclass.

The former Barcelona man has well and truly regained his best form, which will concern other top footballing nations as we approach the 2022 World Cup.

Neymar’s first goal of the evening was a cooly taken penalty on 43 minutes and it was yet more proof that he is one of the very best in the business from 12 yards.

However, there was an element of controversy surrounding the spot kick.

Twenty minutes before Neymar beat Jonas Omlin in the Montpellier goal, Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty while the scores were level at 0-0.

But despite the fact he’d failed at the first time of trying, Mbappe demanded that he be given a second opportunity.

New footage has emerged of the latest ‘penaltygate’ saga at PSG and it should really concern those in power at the club…
