PS Now Apparently Losing 50 Games ahead of PlayStation Plus Integration

PlayStation recently revealed that they will be launching an all-new PlayStation Plus in June with three flexible membership options.

Fans of the Sony console have been hoping for an Xbox Game Pass equivalent for some time, and this appears to be the first step to something like that.

With the service set to be integrating the PS Now and PS Plus services, it has been reported on Reddit that over 50 games will be leaving the PS Now service at the end of May 2022.

Here’s everything you need to know about the games that will be leaving the PS Now service ahead of the new PlayStation Plus integration.

A new thread on the r/PlayStationNow subreddit confirmed that the following games will be leaving the service:

PS4

May 3rd

May 17th

PS3

May 3rd

May 17th

The headline grabbers here are the plethora of SEGA games leaving the service and the Metal Gear Solid games from the PS3 and PS4 that are being removed.

Players in the subreddit have been reacting to the news, with many bringing up the MGS titles getting the drop.

One Redditor noted: “I hope they’re planning for good games to replace them because I know there are replacements. still, it’s sad to see MGS games leaving.”

Another Redditor would state their frustration at the MGS titles going, writing: All MGS? f*ck One of the very few things I would have been interested in…”

As noted, these are unannounced removals by Sony, so there is a chance that this leak could change or be reversed by the company before the new PS Plus tiered service goes live.
