Michael Duff's remains without a first league win as Swansea City boss, after a second-half capitulation condemned his side to a 2-1 defeat at Preston North End.
Harrison Ashby's first ever senior goal capped off a fine first half oozing with positives for the visitors, who are yet to pick up a point on the road so far this season.
But Preston improved after the break, and responded through goals from Andrew Hughes and Duane Holmes, compounding a difficult week for the Swans, who lost Joel Piroe to Leeds United on Thursday.
Getting a new striker on board is clearly a big priority heading into the final week of the window, and their inability to kill this game off after such a promising start will only further underline that point to Duff, who will feel frustrated to see three points slip through the fingers of his side.

Liam Cullen, the only change from the win over Coventry City was the man entrusted to try and fill the Piroe-shaped hole up front, and had an early sight at goal within the opening ten minutes, snapping at a shot on the bounce after Ashby's inviting cross.
There's perhaps little point in dwelling on it, but it was impossible not to think of it as the sort of cross the Dutchman would have buried.
Ryan Ledson might similarly have felt he should have found the net just a few moments later, poking a cross over the bar after being played in by Brad Potts.
Perhaps his frustrations got the better of him, as he was booked on 11 minutes for a really poor tackle on Swansea's Charlie Patino, who given his history with Blackpool received little sympathy form the home crowd.
