PremiumTrust Bank wishes athletes well in Budapest

Nigerian athletes in joyous mood when the result was favourable

As the 19th World Athletics Championships begins in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday, the management of leading financial institution in Nigeria, PremiumTrust Bank, has joined millions of Nigerians in wishing Team Nigeria the best of luck.

PremiumTrust Bank, endorsed Amusan and Brume as its brand ambassadors in September, 2022, shortly after their superlative performance at the World Championships in Oregon, United States.

At that unveiling ceremony, the Managing Director, PremiumTrust Bank, Mr Emmanuel Emefienim, said: “As an institution, we will continue to partner and support individuals, communities, and businesses using various platforms to deliver novel solutions through innovation, technology, and premium services that will support our goal of being the bank of first preference.

“Our reason for an ambassadorial partnership with the renowned athletes Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume, speaks to our drive for enabling growth. We want individuals to see themselves through their unique stories, and see us as an institution committed to powering their dreams.”

The first batch of Team Nigeria’s athletes arrived in Budapest, yesterday, ahead of Saturday’s opening ceremony, where Brume is scheduled to begin Nigeria’s quest for medals.

The management of PremiumTrust Bank said it believes in Brume’s ability to grab another medal for the country, just as it prayed for the clearance of Amusan by AIU to enable her compete in the Championships. [ad
