Premier League wrap: Ogbene sparks Luton comeback against Nottingham Forest

Chiedozie Ogbene scored his first Premier League goal as Luton Town came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Elijah Adebayo scored a stoppage-time goal to earn Luton a point at the City Ground.

Chris Wood had given Forest a 2-0 lead, after opening the scoring in the 48th minute and doubling the home side's lead with a header in the 76th minute.

Luton pulled one back through Ireland international Ogbene in the 83rd minute and the visitors pushed for an equaliser, which came in the 92nd minute when Adebayo controlled a long ball into the area before firing home.

There was further late drama as Wood thought he had scored what would have been his hat-trick goal, but it was disallowed for offside.

Newcastle warmed up for their Champions League showdown with Borussia Dortmund with a 4-0 Premier League demolition of Crystal Palace as Sandro Tonali returned to action.

The Italy international, who is subject to an investigation into allegations of betting breaches, was introduced as a second-half substitute to warm applause from the locals among a crowd of 52,189 at St James' Park.

Jacob Murphy's early strike and further goals from Anthony Gordon and Sean Longstaff before the break put the Magpies in the driving seat and Callum Wilson cemented the points with 24 minutes remaining to send his side into Wednesday night's clash with Dortmund on Tyneside brimming with confidence.
