Premier League darts start time, TV channel and prize money as radical new format explained

The 2022 Premier League darts season begins in Cardiff on Thursday evening.

Here's everything you need to know about the showpiece event at the Motorpoint Arena.

The Cardiff event - which is the first of 16 weeks of the regular season - begins at on Thursday, February 3.

Premier League darts action will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from .

It will be available on their Main Event and Arena channels.

You can also live stream the action via Sky Go or online via their website.

Each night will see quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final played over the best of 11 legs (first to six). In all fixtures, the player named on the left of the draw will throw first in the opening leg, with the throw alternating from then on.

Each player will meet the other seven players twice over the course of the season in a quarter-final game, plus two further nights will feature additional fixtures in the same format.

Night winner - 5 points + £10,000 bonus

Semi-finalists - 2 points

The total prize fund amounts to £1million, with a £10,000 bonus prize available for the winner of each night.
