Pregnant Gemma Atkinson claps back with cellulite and 'massive boobs' after being branded 'tubby'

Gemma Atkinson has clapped back at a series of social media comments she saw about herself in which one user branded her 'tubby'. The Hits Radio host, who is currently expecting her second child with her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez, outed the vile comments on her Instagram Story alongside a lengthy message

The messages appeared to be in a tweet featuring Gemma as the first response read: "She's looking a bit tubby now." A message in response then said: "She is pregnant again," to which the same writer of the first tweet replied: "No reason to let herself go."

And it's fair to say Gemma, 38, wasn't standing for it. The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress typed alongside a screengrab on her Instagram Story: "This was in a Twitter thread about me recently. Looking tubby and letting myself go. Obv I will ALWAYS get this stuff. Pregnant or not."

But the mum-of-one turned her comments on their head and showed support to fellow mums and mums-to-be. "To any woman feeling a little insecure or self-conscious due o the changes in pregnancy remember that what your body is doing is remarkable! And it's something a lot of [women] are set wishing and praying for.

"Embrace the changes. My cellulite on my a**e is tenfold at the minute! My boobs are massive and I struggle to put my shoes on [crying laughing emoji]. BUT I'm growing and creating a life. My son. And for that blessing, I'll take all the above and more. Including the p****s on Twitter."

Last week, Gemma's partner Gorka appeared in awe of his wife-to-be as they worked out together in their own home gym at their Geater Manchester abode.
