Anastasia: Basketball fans, you are in for a treat today. The ultimate big man, Robert Parish is here to talk about a career like no other. The Hall of Famer dominated for 16 hundred and eleven games. That record still stands, 20 years after he retired.
Parish was a mystery on the court. He was 7 feet of stoic, introverted, efficiency.
Who knew? All along the way, the self-described loner was actually a gentle and generous, funny and thoughtful man.
And let me tell you: He has got some memories.

First time in Montreal?
Robert Parish: This is my second time, you know. Yes. And I'm happy to say the weather is warmer. A lot warmer.
Anastasia: Yes, it can be cold.
Robert Parish: Yes, it can be. Every time I come to Canada has always been on the cold side. So this is refreshing.
Anastasia: Have you had poutine yet?
Robert Parish: No.
Anastasia: You got to get some. Gravy, some cheese curds, some fries. It's not healthy, but it is delicious.
Robert Parish: I was going to say my cholesterol may rise a little bit.
Anastasia: Oh, you're here for the NBA Canada series. First time that game has sold out in 24 hours. It's pretty cool eh?
Robert Parish: I think so. I think it's a reflection of the popularity of the game today. And also, I think it helped that Toronto won the championship. And that helped also with the popularity and getting more fans to come out. So I like that.
Anastasia: When Toronto won. It was like the entire city just shut down. It was it was unbelievable. I've actually never seen anything like it. It was really cool.
Robert Parish: Well, I feel like they deserve it. They wanted to shut
