Potgieter's five-for sees MI Cape Town humble defending champions Sunrisers in SA20 opener
Delano Potgieter's five-wicket haul propelled MI Cape Town to humble the defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape in a 97-run win in Thursday's SA20 opener at St George's Park.
Chasing 175 to win in front of a sold-out crowd, Potgieter was sensational as he took five for 10 to bundle the Sunrisers Eastern Cape out for 77.
New Zealander Trent Boult drew first blood when he took back-to-back wickets, removing Zak Crawley (12) and Tom Abell (0). Jordan Hermann didn't last long as he fell for four to give Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai a scalp.

Potgieter silenced the lively orange crowd as he struck in his opening over, taking three wickets in five balls when he dismissed Beyers Swanepoel (1), David Bedingham (0) and Markram (19).

Proteas star Jansen once again struck in the powerplay to dismiss opener Reeza Hendricks for a duck.
