Popular Manchester Christmas night market announces return

A popular winter night market will be returning to Manchester this festive season. Food and drink hub Diecast is going full Christmas with the relaunch of 'Winterhood'.

Kicking off on Wednesday, November 6, the 50,000 square foot beer hall and warehouse kitchen will be transformed into a festive wonderland with seasonal food and cocktails, 'wild' entertainment featuring drag queens and singalong cabaret, and cosy nights in its Tinsel Town Trailer Park.

As part of the Christmas takeover there will be a winter night market complete with vintage stalls alongside candle-lit dining in the Warehouse Kitchen. Campfires, donuts, marshmallow toasting, and hot chocolate have also been promised alongside sausages, warm cookie dough and live music.

Taking over its main factory floor will be the ‘Brooklyn Beer Hall’, featuring the Fairytale of New York playlist and live bands performing holiday hits. Those heading to Diecast during Winterhood can expect Classic Jukebox Tunes on Wednesdays and Thursdays, a full band as part of the 'Beer Hall of Fame' on Fridays, and a chilled Sunday Rising event to wind down the weekend.

Meanwhile, In Club Leno Ex Machina, Diecast has curated nightly themes including late night DJ sets on Wednesdays, La Bang! for upbeat vibes on Thursday, and a fun mix of 'camp, disco, and house' on Fridays. Saturdays meanwhile will belong to Club Ex Machina, Diecast’s signature club night, and Sunday’s (Rising) close with a string quartet.
