Police want to speak to this man over a city centre 'disturbance' which left a 23-year-old with 'serious injuries'

Police are keen to speak to this man in connection to a ‘disturbance’ on Trinity Way earlier this month.

Officers say they were called to reports of a ‘disturbance’ on Trinity Way in Manchester at around 11pm on Saturday, June 10.

The incident saw a 23-year-old man receive serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening, officers say. An investigation is underway to establish what happened.

Now, police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to, as they believe he could help with their enquiries. Detectives are also keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area before, during or after the incident who may have witnessed anything.

“We are following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this incident, but we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information that could assist,” Detective Constable Redman from the GMP City of Manchester district said.

“If you have any CCTV, mobile, or dashcam footage, please share it with police. No matter how small the information may seem – it could be vital for our investigation.”

Information can be shared by calling GMP on 0161 856 6049 quoting log 4139 of 10/06/2023. Information can be reported online using our Livechat function at www.gmp.police.uk or through the independent charity Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
