Police want to speak to this man after serious attack in city centre
Police have released images of a man they’d like to speak to as part of their enquiries into a serious assault in the city centre.
At around 12.20am on December 18, a man was assaulted by an unknown male close to Hula bar on Stevenson Square.
The victim, in his 40s, was taken to hospital having suffered serious head injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and have shared CCTV images of a man.
Anyone with information on the man pictured is advised to contact police.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “Officers investigating a serious assault in Stevenson Square, Manchester City Centre, have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to as part of their enquiries.
“At around 12.20am on 18 December 2021, a man in his 40s was assaulted by an unknown man close to 'Hula' bar.
“The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
“Anyone who knows the man pictured, or has any information, is asked to contact police.”
