Police want to speak to this man after Mercedes stolen from town centre car park

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a car was stolen from a town centre car park.

The black Mercedes A-Class was taken from King Street car park Oldham at about 12.18pm on Monday, July 8. Officers say that prior to the stealing the car, the suspect walked along Union Street before turning right on King Street.

He then crossed the road onto the car park before fleeing in the victim's car. Greater Manchester Police has now released a CCTV image of a man who officers believe "could hold key information" that could assist their investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has any information or recognises the man in the image, is asked to get in touch. That includes anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
