Police release CCTV of wanted man after biker attacked by gang of thugs

Police have released CCTV pictures of a man who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Bolton.

The attack happened on Broach Street on December 16 last year, police said. A man was attacked by a group of men who stole his bike.

He was left with serious injuries. Officers now want to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images.

He is wanted on suspicion of assault, GMP said in an appeal. Anyone who recognises him is being urged to get in touch.

In full, the appeal said: "Bolton police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing this man (pictured), who is wanted on suspicion of a serious assault. The incident was reported on 16 December 2022 on Broach Street in Bolton, in which a man was attacked and his bike stolen by a group of men – leaving him with serious injuries.

"If anyone can identify the man, or has more information regarding the incident, GMP are urging you to contact Bolton CID on 0161 856 5757 quoting incident number CRI/06KK/0039652/22. Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity – Crimestoppers – on 0800 555 111.
