ITV Coronation Street fans shouting at their TVs as they spot major flaw in Carla storyline

Coronation Street fans have been left shouting at their TVs as they believe they have spotted a major flaw in Carla Connor's current storyline. As viewers of the ITV soap know, the Underworld boss is being drugged by Stephen Reid with LSD as he continues his mission to claw her beloved factory away from her.

Carla, played by Alison King, has been testing Stephen's patience by treating him like the office lackey and embarrassing him in front of clients. The bogus businessman even attempted a coup under boss Carla's nose, until she was tipped off by Faye Windass, as she was off work as her husband Peter feared her psychosis had returned.

And following a trip to the doctor where Carla explained her worry to Dr Gaddass, there was a meeting with reps for an American company at the factory. But in scenes, aired on Wednesday night (March 15), Carla once again tried to put Stephen, played by Todd Boyce, in his place and accused him of being a glorified tea boy, sending him off to make the drinks.

But she made a big mistake as armed with the hallucinogenic drug, the serial killer once again tampered with Carla's coffee. While his plan was almost thwarted by none other than Sally Metcalfe as she popped over to remind Stephen of Carla's milk choice and even offered to finish off the drinks herself, Stephen refused the help and then added more LSD into Carla's hot beverage.

During the meeting, Carla began to hallucinate and struggled to get through the deal. Luckily, the meeting went well but a terrified Carla became increasingly erratic and as the factory celebrated the new deal, Carla demanded everyone leave. Worried for
