Police release CCTV images after 'violent disorder' at Parklife 2024

A violent incident at Parklife 2024 has sparked an ongoing police investigation. Greater Manchester Police are hunting a number of people in connection with the incident which occurred at the Heaton Park festival last year.

The incident is believed to have happened on June 9 close to the Hangar Stage at the popular music festival. A video of the alleged fight began circulating online.

Following the emergence of the footage an investigation was launched by GMP. The police are now appealing to the public for any information about the incident.

Police are especially interested in speaking to the individuals pictures. GMP said in a statement that they believe the individuals can "assist with our investigation."

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Greater Manchester Police is appealing for the public’s assistance in an investigation of violent disorder which occurred at the Parklife music event in Heaton Park in 2024. It’s believed that a fight occurred on Sunday 9 June near the Hangar Stage.

"Footage of the incident later emerged online, and an investigation was launched. Thankfully, whilst no serious injuries have been reported, work is ongoing to identify those involved. Several lines of enquiry have been exhausted, and police are now appealing to the public, and to anyone who may have been at the event or perhaps has crucial information, to come forward."

They added: "Every year we work closely with event organisers and partners to keep those attending the event safe, and minimise disruption to local communities, and this year will be no different.
