Police issue urgent appeal to find boy, 9, who has gone missing
An urgent appeal has been issued to help trace a nine-year-old boy who has been reported missing. Leon, whose surname was not given, was last seen on Sunday afternoon (August 20).
Police said the last sighting of the schoolboy was at around 2.20pm in Newall Green, Wythenshawe. He was carrying a black gift-type bag.
Leon is described as being approximately 5ft, of slim build with short blond/brown hair. He was wearing a camouflage hooded top that has black arms and red panels under the shoulders, black shorts with red panels down the side of the legs and black trainers.

Greater Manchester Police said officers are 'becoming increasingly concerned about Leon' and 'want to make sure that he is safe and well' as they issued a plea for information.
